The Patriot Front Debacle

The Patriot Front Debacle

There is a national agenda to ensnare those opposed to Marxist ideology

As reported here on numerous occasions, there is a national push to create and promote the Department of Justice (DOJ) program United Against Hate, launched on September 15, 2022, at a White House event, United We Stand, by Attorney General Merrick Garland.

The United Against Hate (UAH) program ordered all 94 United States District Attorney’s Offices to urge and educate the public to report hate incidents and crimes to the DOJ and FBI. The UAH events in North Idaho have been held consecutively with local human rights task forces. Their sole purpose is to protect the LGBTQ agenda from ANY criticism and penalize all who object.

The FBI and DOJ have even started going into local schools on the East Coast to propagandize youth into this disturbing ideal.

As many readers are aware, thirty-one members of the organization Patriot Front were arrested by the City of Coeur d’Alene on June 11, 2022, on charges of conspiracy to riot. According to court documents, Patriot Front planned to enter the park until resistance was met. Then, its group leader, Thomas Rousseau, would give a speech promoting family ideals and condemn the drag show where children could view the risque performances with Coeur d’Alene Police conveniently located out of viewpoint.

The North Idaho Pride Alliance hosted the event under its then-new director, Dr. Sarah Lynch, a former United States Air Force specializing in Emergency Management and Homeland Security. Ironically, Patriot Front is arrested for Conspiracy to Riot that day. Later, Dr. Lynch applied for a FEMA Non-Profit Security Grant, citing the Patriot Front arrest as one of the reasons for requesting the grant, as well as the Idaho Tribune and KCRCC delegate Dave Reilly.

During the Posey v Bushnell trial, I attempted to ask Dr. Lynch, the director of the NIPA, about the Non-Profit Security Grant.

In 2023, two cases were dismissed in the Patriot Front trial (Richard Jessop and Thomas Rousseau) due to prosecutorial misconduct by Plaintiffs Wes Somerton and Ryan Hunter representing the City of Coeur d’Alene, the two prominent prosecutors in these trials. According to public records, these gentlemen spent over 2,000 hours pursuing these cases as of September 2023, and a rough estimate of taxpayers’ monies spent is around 2-4 million dollars.

The Idaho Tribune has been covering the Patriot Front cases in Coeur d’Alene and is the only platform outside of this one promoting the truth surrounding this issue. Luckily, more prominent outlets are carrying some of what we have been releasing, but the public at large is unaware of what is happening in these cases.

All these factors prove there is an agenda at play involving nefarious players at the DOJ and FBI who are facilitating this unlawful ploy against the citizenry.

The Western States Center is a communist organization that works with local communities and incorporates ‘fellows’ to promote Marxist ideals at a community level, working in tandem with the SPLCADLIREHRICAP, and others who share these anti-American values.

The state appealed Richard Jessop and Thomas Rousseau’s cases. In February, Judge Mitchell issued a scathing 130-page decision dismissing the appeal in Jessop’s case and admonishing the prosecution for violating Brady after not providing the defense 3.5 TB of data related to the case. The state also did not appear for a trial date.

Judge Mitchell dismissed the appeal in Thomas Rousseau’s case on July 10, 2024.

Here are the issues that the plaintiffs presented in the recent appeal involving Rousseau.

The appeal questions six issues raised by the State:

  1. Were the magistrate’s findings of fact that formed the basis for its Order of Dismissal the product of legally erroneous procedures, and were specific finding[s] in the Order unsupported by the record of the proceedings, making those findings clearly erroneous
  2. Did the magistrate err by issuing its Order of Dismissal as a sanction when it had already imposed a less drastic sanction and when many other less drastic, more proportional alternative sanctions remained available?

III. Did the magistrate abuse its discretion by basing its Order of Dismissal on the State’s alleged noncompliance with the Order Compelling Discovery and the Order Re: Motion for Independent Analysis of Evidence, which were issued in error and failed to comply with I.C.R. 16?

  1. Did the magistrate err as a matter of law when it declined to quash the improper subpoena duces tecum Defendant served on the State and abuse its discretion by citing the State’s alleged noncompliance there with as a basis for issuing the Order of Dismissal?
  2. Did the magistrate err by misapplying the analysis set forth in Brady v. Maryland, 373 U.S. 83 (1963), to the facts of this case and by relying on that misapplication as a basis for issuing its Order of Dismissal?
  3. Did the magistrate err by misapplying the analysis set forth in Arizona v. Youngblood, 488 U.S. 51 (1988), to the facts of this case and by relying on that misapplication as a basis for issuing its Order of Dismissal

Excerpt from the recent 105-page decision by Judge Mitchell admonishing Ryan Hunter and Wes Somerton.

The state argues that the cell phones seized from the Patriot Front members were given from the Coeur d’Alene Police to the FBI, that the state is not responsible for lost data/content, and that the judge applied the Brady violation inappropriately. Judge Mitchell did not agree with that position in either Jessop or Rousseau’s cases.

Kinzo Mihara, representing Thomas Rousseau, acknowledged the state has 42 days to appeal this decision. Once these appeals are sorted out, Thomas Rousseau and Richard Jessop should have the standing to sue the City of Coeur d’Alene and those responsible for this grave injustice of liberty that must be set straight.

Please help me continue exposing evil and corruption in North Idaho. I am on the verge of something big and need your support to keep researching, conducting interviews, etc. This takes all of my time and does cost money to be effective.

I cannot do this without your support.
