The Real Threat to Democracy
When a reporter shouted to Crooked Joe, “Is Trump an insurrectionist, sir?” it caught everyone on the Biden puppeteer team off guard. Their hearts must have sunk to their toes when he suddenly headed for the crowd of reporters and blurted out, “I think … it’s self-evident. Whether the Fourteenth Amendment applies, we’ll let the Court make that decision, but he certainly supported an insurrection. No question about it. None. Zero.” No big deal. Just another Joe Biden lie.
Now that everyone can see that “the adults are in charge” has turned out to be the dufus is in charge, Joe is getting it from all sides. Yes, Biden is a childish blowhard. Yes, he has deteriorating dementia. Yes, he’s creepy around little girls. But long after Biden has taken his final spill on his tricycle, he will be remembered, above all, as a world-class liar. Joe’s serial lying is akin to Tourette’s Syndrome in that he seems to have no control over it.
If Republican fantasies ever come true and Crooked Joe is led out of a courtroom in shackles, I can just picture him barking loudly to the judge, “It’s not true! The only guy who made money from China is Donald Trump.” In a Christmas spirit of generosity, I am obliged to say that Biden’s denial that he made tens of millions of dollars selling out his own country qualifies as no more than a garden-variety lie in Washington. But insisting that Donald Trump is the one who made millions of dollars selling out America is several levels above garden-variety lying. It’s nothing short of an inversion of the truth.
Truth inversion is when someone says something that is the exact opposite of the truth. The most common example of this is projection — when someone accuses another person of something that he himself has done or is thinking. All leftist groups and dictatorships are masters at projection, and it works magnificently for them so long as a majority of the masses are devoid of information. From China to Hamas, from Iran to BLM, from Venezuela to the Democrat Party, truth inversion in the form of projection is the weapon of choice for leftwing propagandists.
While everyday lying is tolerable, especially in politics, truth inversion is nothing short of evil, because the person who engages in truth inversion is not only trying to absolve himself of a wrongful thought or action, he’s also accusing an innocent person of that very thought or action. The reason so many people do not push back against such outrageous lies is because normal minds cannot comprehend how someone could have the audacity to boldly state something that is the exact opposite of the truth.
However, as I have repeatedly pointed out, Democrats are not normal. The Democrat Party is packed with people who are programmed at birth to tell monster lies without flinching, starting at the top with reprobates like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Hakeem Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi, and Adam Schiff. Even a moron like Karine Jean-Pierre or a shameless lackey like Jen Psaki engage in this kind of sewage daily without fear of ever being called out.
Of course, truth-inversion lies are not the only kind of falsehoods that are evil. All lies that cause pain or suffering are evil. These include such whoppers as climate change as an existential threat, transgenderism, structural racism, Holocaust denials, “the border is secure,” January 6 was an insurrection, Charlottesville (“very fine people on both sides”), accusations of Israeli genocide against Palestinians … the list goes on and on. Sadly, a person who doesn’t take the trouble to educate himself is a ripe target for the constant drumbeat of Democrat lies that saturate the airwaves and Internet daily.
Now we have the absurd ruling of radical-left judges in Colorado to bar Trump from running for president in that state, which is perhaps the biggest lie of all. What they are saying is, “Even though Donald Trump has never been convicted of insurrection, we believe he’s guilty and therefore have an obligation to prevent Colorado citizens from making the mistake of voting for him.” How comforting to know that unelected bureaucrats are protecting us.
One of the many good things that is likely to come out of this unforced error by Democrats is that millions of people who lean slightly left can now clearly see that it’s not Donald Trump who is a threat to democracy. The real threat to democracy is the very people who are trying to stop him from running for president.
The truth is that Donald Trump’s unforgiveable sin is that he’s a threat to the establishment. He scared the hell out of the good ole’ boys club in D.C. the first time around, and only his naiveté and uncontrollable desire to be loved prevented him from permanently ending business as usual in the nation’s capital. Let’s hope he’s learned his lessons well and that he will be much wiser the next time around.
