WASHINGTON STATE Rescinds!!!WOO-HOO!
By Judi Caler
Our liberal allies in the war to save our Constitution struck again. For the 10th time within 9 years, a Democrat State rescinded all their previously passed applications—this time Washington State! And with help from conservative boots on the ground, the final House vote was a bipartisan 81 (yes) to 16 (no), with 97% of Democrats and 62% of Republicans voting “Yes.”
The Senate had previously passed the same resolution 47 (yes) to 1 (no) on Feb. 19. Washington thus rescinded at least 5 applications on record between 1901 and 1963.Washington’s rescission brings the total number of states having noapplications on record to 14—Hawaii (which has never passed an application under Article V); and states which have since rescinded their applications: Idaho (2000), Virginia (2004), Montana (2007), Delaware (2016), Maryland (2017), New Mexico (2017), Nevada (2017), Colorado (2021), New Jersey (2021), Illinois (2022), Oregon (2023), New York (2024), and now Washington State (2025)!
The most effective thing State Legislatures can do to save our Constitution is to rescind all applications on record. If 3 more states rescind, and none of the states listed above pass new applications, there won’t be 34 states left to count!
Thank you, Washington!
Thank you for defending our Constitution!
