Wisdom and Inspiration for Troubled Times

The words of Daniel Webster ring as true today as they did over 160 years ago: “Hold on, my friends, to the Constitution and to the Republic for which it stands. Miracles do not cluster and what has happened once in 6,000 years, may not happen again. Hold on to the Constitution, for if the American Constitution should fail, there will be anarchy throughout the world. We must hold fast to the miracle that is our Constitution and our republic; we must not submit our constitutional freedoms, and the promise of our nation, to judicial tyranny.”
Although our nation is not currently under military attack like the Nazi onslaught against Great Britain, our sacred Constitution’s under such ferocious attacks on so many fronts, the courts, big media, congress, executive branch, government agencies and by our education system it’s overwhelming.
Here are some very relevant reflections from another, different time, for our time; some inspirational quotes from one of the greatest men of courage, conviction and enlightenment of all times:

So, it’s never over!
Overwhelming, is the word I think of and hear most often from others when discussing among us righteous patriotic Americans the unending, multitudinous troubled issues of our day, as presented by the left and their media minions. Our being overwhelmed is not by happenstance, it most certainly is by a design to wear us down into submission by the Deep State ‘Establishment,’ The World Economic Forum (WEF) and the United Nations, which we MUST get out of.
World Government socialism demands big government and has for far too long been about balancing social mores, establishing controls and even guarantees for individuals and commerce through government programs. The more programs the more power they expropriate.
Socialism has never succeeded as a government and socialist provocateurs keep making the same mistakes in the face of all their existing failures. If what they are doing is not about power and world domination then they have exhibited the true mark of insanity by continuing the same stupid stuff repeatedly, such as:
- Government hand-outs have dis-incentivized people to work.
- Subsidies and bailouts are unbalancing the free market.
- 30-hour work weeks have forced people to get 2nd jobs falsely propping up job reports.
- Overburdening regulations, high taxes and poor and deceitfully contrived fair-trade laws have forced layoffs and closed businesses.
- And the sheer weight of constant bad news and outright lies trumpeted by the sorry ultra-liberal media supporting the establishment’s agenda believing they are the means to what they believe is a righteous end: control of the masses.
All this and much more is overwhelmingly taking its toll on citizens’ faith in the people we have elected in both parties who are part and parcel to it all.

I am used to also linking to the CFR membership roster and stating that some of the names will surprise you and tick you off. But, recently, they have finally taken their huge roster of thousands of names, many of whom you would recognize and most of them are quite influential and well placed people nationally in all manners of business and politics,
As author James Perloff states in his book ‘Shadows of Power’ about the Council on Foreign Relations: “The word “Establishment” is a general term for the power elite in international finance, business, the professions and government, largely from the northeast, who wield most of the power regardless of who is in the White House. Most people are unaware of the existence of this “legitimate Mafia.” Yet the power of the Establishment makes itself felt from the professor who seeks a foundation grant, to the candidate for a cabinet post or State Department job. It affects the nation’s policies in almost every area.”
Most Americans have never even heard of the Council on Foreign Relations, yet its members dominate almost every aspect of American life. This is probably because there are over 170 journalists, correspondents, and communications executives who are members of the CFR who do not write about the organization. It is an express condition of membership that no one is to disclose what goes on at CFR meetings.
For years, they have brazenly displayed their roster with no fear. Perhaps, President Trump or his administration might be awakening to what they are truly about and how they are influencing all of our government. American patriots must study issues, inform others, follow the Freedom Indexes for the U.S. Congress and the individual states at The Freedom Index at JBS.org and fire elected officials who are not following our rule of law through our U.S. Constitution and the states’ Constitutions. There is no other way to right our absolute mess. Presidents, congressmen, senators and governors created this boondoggle we have and they must pay for it by being replaced at the ballot box, ending their political careers and being replaced with real accountable patriots who understand our Constitutions and take their oaths to them seriously. They need to know we are watching. Be damned with the Establishment!
