John Thune Sides with Democrats Rather Than the House on Funding

As usual, John Thune is betraying Republicans.
Thune won’t take up the SAVE Act or any Republican legislative priorities. He is in charge of stopping the agenda of the elected president.
The House passed a stopgap measure that calls for funding the federal government until December 4th, after the midterms. The hope is to avert another Democrat government shutdown that would hurt Republicans before the election. Democrats would blame President Trump and Republicans for a shutdown, and the media would back them up.
Thune won’t do anything the real Republicans want.
Thune won’t take up the continuing resolution (CR) presented by House Speaker Mike Johnson (LA-04). Thune has made it clear that what Johnson and House Republicans offered as a solution to avert a government shutdown will not be sent to the Senate floor.
No one will move to remove Thune because so many senators are just like Thune. They hate Trump, and they will let the country go to communism before they will pass his agenda. They would rather work with Democrats on funding.
