Stop the Convention of States Con Job in Idaho: Stated by a Democrat and a Republican Who Strongly Agree and Factually Explain Why

Some of you know that I haven’t been up to par in recent weeks due to the passing of my wife and so it was that I missed this important video of Casey Whalen’s on the debate in the Idaho House on the COS con job.

Casey Whalen produced an hour and twenty-minute video in the Idaho House of Representatives on February 6, 2026 where the House floor debate ensued allowing Idaho to join a Constitutional Convention of States.

His 14-minute CLIP from the House floor debate is a must see for all legislators and citizens to listen to for factual information in a bipartisan presentation from Rep. Ilana Rubel (D) and Rep. Judy Boyle (R).

As an Anti COS Con-Con Activist, Judi Caler stated “Both representatives hit it out of the ballpark! They refuted the false arguments that the convention lobby has been inundating legislators with for a decade, along with the latter’s new narrative—that despite the language of Idaho’s HCR 25, your vote will serve only to scare Congress into proposing the Amendment itself!

Although the house voted for HCR 25 by 2 votes, it was put in the drawer in the Senate for next year.
