AI Replacing God

AI Replacing God

As artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly being integrated into the world, it is incomprehensible the impact it will eventually make on everyone’s lives, to include usurping the role of faith and God.

Understanding the basics of AI is important.  It is essentially “technology that enables computers and machines to simulate human learning, comprehension, problem solving, decision making, creativity and autonomy.”  This article explains AI and has a short video detailing how AI works.  AI is far more comprehensive, and frightening, than everyone may realize.

Many technocrats are responsible for programming AI, which can also include their own bias,  Because AI is considered to eventually hold the answers to all questions, it is only natural that it could analyze the whole concept of God, faith, and beliefs.  Unanswered questions in faith will be answered by AI, and to some, will create its own religion.  Perhaps the creation of a new religion or becoming a new God is the dark side of AI.

Even though AI is programmed by technocrats, it is capable of taking that data and producing new ideas never thought of before by humans.  This may also include new ideas in relation to faith.  Even Sam Altman recognizes “AI will probably most likely lead to the end of the world.”

.

As AI expands, being fed more data, there are those who may believe it can become the new God, taking on the role of all knowing, a clear transgression of the first and second Commandments.  But it isn’t limited to just God, it expands to other religious deities.

With advancing technologies, a God-like AI might be possible as explained in this video.  Collection of data is needed to achieve this state, which is being built by the Trump administration through its AI Action Plan (pg 14).  It also builds upon the use of AI and its threat of technocracy.

AMERICA’S ACTION PLAN

Transmorphosis: A Spiritual Guide Created By AI by ChatGPT, is a book supposedly written by ChatGPT in which it has created an AI God with its own bible called Transmorphosis that leads to omnipotence.  Indeed, what “human” technocrat programmed this with the use of AI.

Perhaps the shift to this God-like AI is now in progress.  Already there are technocrats playing God with the building blocks of life, genetics.  With the use of AI, they have taken the role of creating life into their own hands.

AI is clearly a threat to humanity and the notion that it is capable of replacing God should be a warning to all.  Even more so, maybe that is why the first two commandments warn that there shall be no other God or image of God.  Yet, as humans have progressively abandoned His teachings, there may be a continued shift to a false belief that God can be replaced with AI.  Attempts to gather a fellowship for worship have already failed, but may return in the future as AI advances.

In this debate between an AI atheist and AI believer, the atheist uses strictly logic.  That is the essence and danger of an AI God or religion, no faith or belief, but a pure black and white technocratic thought process.  The peace one has with faith can never be replaced with strict logic by an AI God or religion.  AI will never be able to answer the question of how life began as it was created by something far greater that requires faith, not logic.  And that can never be replaced.
