Tulsi Gabbard Formally Revokes Security Clearances For Former Biden Officials, Other Top Dems
By Debra Heine
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced Monday that she has formally revoked security clearances for the dozens of Democrat officials who weaponized the government to help Joe Biden or punish the regime’s political enemies.
Gabbard, who oversees the U.S. intelligence agencies, provided the names of those who no longer have security clearances on X, saying she was following through on President Donald Trump’s directives, issued by executive order after he took office.
“Per @POTUS directive, I have revoked security clearances and barred access to classified information for Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, and Andrew Weissman, along with the 51 signers of the Hunter Biden “disinformation” letter,” Gabbard wrote on X.
“The President’s Daily Brief is no longer being provided to former President Biden,” she added.
Trump signed an executive order on January 20, directing the revocation of security clearances held by the 51 former intelligence officials “who engaged in misleading and inappropriate political coordination with the 2020 Biden presidential campaign” by signing the fraudulent letter purporting that the New York Post’s October 2020 bombshell stories on Hunter Biden’s laptop were Russian disinformation.
Trump decided on February 8 to remove security clearances for former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
“Bad guy. Take away his passes,” Trump told the New York Post of Blinken, who had coordinated the bogus letter to give Biden talking points to debunk the damning laptop in the runup to the 2020 election.
James and Bragg were involved in political prosecutions of Trump in New York last year and James’ office filed a lawsuit last month on behalf of 18 other Democrat state attorneys general over the Department of Government Efficiency’s access to the Treasury Department’s payment system.
Trump also moved on Feb 8 to strip clearances from former national security advisor Jake Sullivan, Biden’s Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, as well as attorneys Andrew Weissmann, and lawfare kingpins Mark Zaid and kingpin Norm Eisen. Monaco oversaw the prosecution of Trump supporters who protested at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Weissman is notorious for being Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s top deputy during the Russia hoax investigation and is now an MSNBC legal analyst.
Trump also announced last month that he would revoke Biden’s security clearances and daily intelligence briefings due to the 82-year-old’s declining mental state.
“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information,” Trump posted on Truth Social on Feb. 7. “Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings.”
Trump pointed out at the time that the action was not unprecedented. Joe Biden early in his presidency barred Trump from receiving intelligence briefings even though they had typically been given to other former presidents.
“He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents,” Trump stated. “The Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from “poor memory” and, even in his “prime,” could not be trusted with sensitive information. I will always protect our National Security — JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
