How will the Trump administration impact Washington State? Let’s review…

The incoming Trump administration is destined to impact Governor Ferguson’s plans for Washington State. What will these impacts be?

Washington State is still counting and discovering more ballots around the state – some perhaps pulled out of election worker car trunks, mysterious stashes discovered in the bowels of the United States Post Office distribution system, and other undefined locations – three weeks after “election day.” But, don’t worry. There is nothing unusual or shady about this. The rest of the nation finished the election three weeks ago, but speculation abounds about the ways a Trump administration will impact Washington State. This is a significant question because Washington State’s Executive and legislative branches of government are in full-blown Trump Derangement Syndrome. Washington State’s new Govenor Bob Ferguson has defined himself and his career by his opposition to Trump. This inevitable political clash sets our state up for some inevitable conflicts. Let’s discuss what these are likely to become over the next few years.

We produced this video on November 16th:

The first and most obvious impact on Washington state will be the conflict between the Trump administration’s objective to deport any illegal aliens in Washington State who are violent sex predators, rapists, child molesters, members of international crime rings, violent criminals, drug dealers, and involved in other criminal activities and Ferguson’s determination to keep these good people here. However, incoming Governor Bob Ferguson and his former employee, and incoming State Attorney General Nick Brown are determined to protect these criminals and keep them in our state for some inexplicable reason. It isn’t clear why the Democrats have decided THIS is the first hill they want to defend, but by their actions you will know them, so this will shape up to be an obvious conflict from the start.

Secondly, related to the self-proclaimed Sanctuary Status for all illegal alien criminals that the Democrats have draped around the State of Washington, these policies seem to be inviting a variety of possible Federal actions including withholding of Federal funds. It isn’t completely clear the process and the methods that the Feds would use to withhold funds, and if the proposed Musk/Vivek Department of Government Efficiency would be part of this process.

On the other hand, the immediately obvious significance of whoever the incoming administration at the Department of Justice appoints to be US attorneys in Washington State will be clear to most political insiders. If the Trump administration appoints resume-builders who desire to avoid rocking any political boats and primarily position themselves for more lucrative employment down the road with this cool experience on their resume, then expect nothing of notable significance or difference from decades of past bureaucratic placeholders in these positions. However, if they appoint attorneys willing to aggressively prosecute not just the standard criminal drug trafficking cases, but also expand their activity more aggressively into the public integrity space, you can expect fireworks as the Ferguson administration goes into full coverup and document shredding mode.

I believe the single biggest impact on Washington State could very well be the proposed Federal election reform policies being discussed in DC right now. Here is a video I produced on this subject just a few days ago:

There are likely to be additional impacts on the State of Washington. For example, I suspect that if the Trump administration follows through on their stated plans to decertify the most out of control and useless colleges in America, there is no way The Evergreen State College isn’t high on that list. I discuss this potential here in a video I posted last week:

We will continue to put together a list of the likely impacts on Washington State in an effort to help people understand the potential impacts as January 20th approaches. The challenge with projecting future impacts is the obvious fact that we can only estimate these impacts based on proposed policy plans before the new administration takes office. Distractions, diversions, cowardice, and unpredictable events can change everything. We live in interesting times, and they are fairly sure to get more interesting in the near future.

OUR CONSTITUTION BEGINS WITH THE PHRASE “WE THE PEOPLE.”  IT WAS THE FOUNDERS’ INTENT THAT GOVERNMENT BE CREATED BY THE PEOPLE, TO SERVE THE PEOPLE.  IT WASN’T THEIR INTENTION FOR THE PEOPLE TO SERVE THE GOVERNMENT.  IT WAS ALWAYS INTENDED THAT GOVERNMENT WHICH FAILED TO SERVE THE PEOPLE SHOULD BE “ALTERED OR ABOLISHED.”  UNTIL WE RETURN TO THE FOUNDER’S INTENT, WE REMAIN WE THE GOVERNED
