Unburdened by Joy, Dems Turn to Hate
C.S. Lewis was an intellectual giant who found joy in God when he became a Christian in 1931, at age 33. If you read any of Lewis’ works, especially his 1955 classic, Surprised by Joy, it will stir every neuron in your brain. Lewis explained joy in the simplest but most profound way when he said, “Joy bursts in our lives when we go about doing the good at hand and not trying to manipulate things and times to achieve joy.”
Contrast C.S. Lewis’ view of joy with that of a modern-day politician whose handlers decided that a good way to cover up for their intellectually vapid candidate was to announce to the world that hers was a campaign of joy. Presto! Just like that, a campaign of joy was born. The problem is that hers was an artificial joy that she hoped to achieve by “trying to manipulate things and times to achieve [it].”
Not surprisingly, then, Hologram Harris’ fictitious joy was short lived, and as she collapsed in the polls, it metastasized into a campaign of uncontrollable anger, bitterness, and hate. Sadly, her entire campaign message is now just a shrieking hodge-podge of smears against Donald Trump in the hope that there are enough walking dead voters who will buy into the fake narrative her handlers have saddled her with.
Now the question is, can Democrats come up with yet another nefarious scheme to save the whitest black person on the planet in the final week of her embarrassing campaign? Perhaps, but it will be difficult. It’s not easy to save a mediocre, unaccomplished DEI hire, even with such diverse endorsers as Volodymyr Zelensky, Lizzo, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and the UK Labor Party. Too late for an endorsement from O.J., but perhaps Kamala could still get an endorsement from the Menendez brothers before next Tuesday.
Of course, Kamala’s most prestigious endorsers are Barack Obama and Mad Mamma Obama, but let’s face it, the Obamas’ endorsements have proven to be the kiss of death for numerous political candidates in recent years. The Obamas long ago abandoned their hope-and-change schtick and instead are focused on insulting half of the U.S. population. Even the bros are increasingly rejecting the new Obama policy of hope and hate.
The brilliant campaign staffers urging Kamala to pound away at the “Trump is a fascist, Trump is Hitler” theme still believe it’s just a matter of tweaking the message for those low-information people who continue to stubbornly lean toward Trump, which is why Kamala has become such a pathetic figure. It doesn’t occur to them that the root cause of the problem is not the messaging, but the fact that everyone, including most Democrat voters, realizes that Kamala, like Joe Biden, is a complete fraud. The only authentic thing about her is that she’s an authentic dunce who has authentically mastered the art of failing upward.
To make matters worse, lurking around every corner is the creepy old sociopath who is determined to sabotage his once joyful successor before he is forced out of the White House for good. It’s a tough situation for Joe, because even when those big Dem donors agreed to fill his grift coffers in return for his assurance that he would go quietly into the night, he still could not let go of his hatred for the man who, in a single debate, ended his 50-year career of selling out America. Thus, even while plotting to upend Kamala, feeble Joe not only continues to call Donald Trump a threat to democracy after two assassination attempts, but has upped the ante by calling for him to be “locked up.” What a heartwarming thought from a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man.
Another question is, how much more did those same Dem donors have to pay the Bidens to get Jill to say that Joe’s stepping aside was “the right call?” And were those donors smart enough to spread their payments out far into the future to assure that Joe and Jill will remain silent for a long time? Sooner or later, of course, you can be sure that Jill’s tell-all book will be published, and it will eviscerate Kamala, whom she hates with a passion for embarrassing her cognitively impaired partner in crime by painting him as a racist. But the most interesting part of her book will be her detailed account of how Pelosi, Schumer, Obama, and most of the Democrat Party hierarchy forced Joe to call it a career. It will be a fun read, even though any half-awake American already knows the plot.
One final word before election day: Don’t be misled by the nine-year campaign to smear Trump, bankrupt Trump, jail Trump, and kill Trump, because in truth none of this is really about Donald Trump. It’s about the Democrats’ desire to achieve total control of all the levers of power and convert the United States into a single-party, authoritarian nation.
As Trump himself has repeatedly said, he just happens to be the one who is in their way right now, which means, win or lose, Democrats will anoint the next Republican nominee Hitler, so get ready for Adolf Vance, Adolf DiSantis, Adolf Donalds, Adolf Ramaswamy, and/or Adolf Youngkin, coming soon to a voting booth near you. All of them have the potential to join Adolf Goldwater, Adolf Nixon, Adolf Ford, Adolf Reagan, and Adolf Bush in the Democrats’ Fascist Hall of Fame. You have to hand it to Democrats for never wavering from their tried-and-true game plan.
As to November 5, I will say one more time that I believe Donald Trump is way ahead in the legal vote count, and has been for some time, but whether his lead can hold up against the massive Democrat cheating machine remains in doubt. The breathtaking gall of the Democrat judge in Virginia who ruled that more than 1,600 people who self-identified as noncitizens have to be put back on the voter rolls is only the tip of the iceberg, because Democrats are just getting warmed up. About the only thing of which we can be certain is that Michael Whatley and Laura Trump will either be hailed as heroes or bums shortly after November 5.
