LEGISLATION HAS BEEN INTRODUCED IN THE IDAHO LEGISLATURE TO NULLIFY THE WHO, HHS, AND CDC

ACT NOW: Legislation has been introduced in the Idaho Legislature to nullify the unconstitutional World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It is imperative that legislators enact this bill and protect our God-given freedoms!

Senate Bill No. 1287 (S1287) is sponsored by the Senate Health and Welfare Committee.

If enacted, S1287 would prevent any edicts or recommendations from the WHO, HHS, or CDC from being enforced in Idaho. The bill declares:

(1) The world health organization shall have no jurisdiction in Idaho. Any requirements, mandates, recommendations, instructions, or guidance provided by the world health organization shall not be used in this state to justify any public health requirements, including but not limited to mask, vaccine, quarantine, or medical testing requirements. Any such requirements shall have no force or effect in Idaho.

(2) Without an affirmative vote by both bodies of the Idaho legislature, the state of Idaho is prohibited from implementing or enforcing any requirements or mandates from the United States department of health and human services and the centers for disease control and prevention. No recommendations, instructions, or guidance provided by either organization shall be used to justify any public health requirements, including but not limited to mask, vaccine, quarantine, or medical testing requirements.

The bill goes on to also prohibit the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare from issuing edicts on behalf of, or similar to, the WHO, HHS, and CDC.

S1287 comes as the WHO is planning a major power grab to allow it to impose draconian restrictions, such as vaccine passports and other “health” measures, at a global level. This comes in the form of a proposed global “pandemic treaty” and in possible amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR). In addition to advancing medical tyranny, these changes would empower international bureaucracy at the expense of American sovereignty.

S1287 is firmly grounded in the text of the U.S. Constitution. Specifically, Article VI binds state legislators — along with members of Congress and judges — to their oath to support the U.S. Constitution.

Article VI also states, “This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof … shall be the supreme Law of the Land.” (Emphasis added.) State legislators are required to uphold and implement only those laws that are “made in Pursuance” to the Constitution. Any laws not “made in Pursuance thereof” are therefore not the supreme Law of the Land and, as such, state legislators are under no obligation to enforce or carry out their provisions. Instead, they should interpose, or nullify, such laws within the boundaries of their state.

This stipulation applies to the treaty-making power. Treaties (including U.S. membership in the WHO) must also be subject to, and bound by, the limitations of the Constitution.

In a letter dated September 7, 1803, then-President Thomas Jefferson wrote, “I say the same as to the opinion of those who consider the grant of the treaty making power as boundless. If it is, then we have no Constitution.” This was further affirmed by the Supreme Court of the United States, in Reid v. Covert (1957).

Urge your state representatives and senator to support S1287 and to push back against all other unconstitutional laws at every level of government.
