The Road to Tyranny Is Paved with Chaos

The Road to Tyranny Is Paved with Chaos

Men claiming to be women leads to chaos.  Funding wars in Ukraine and throughout the Middle East with borrowed money leads to chaos.  Illegals beating up cops leads to chaos.  Hysterical protests over climate change as an “existential threat” to humanity leads to chaos.  Weaponizing the law against political opponents leads to chaos.  Tearing down historical statues leads to chaos.  Forcing people to mask up and take an experimental vaccine against their will leads to chaos.  Just about anything that flies in the face of societal norms leads to chaos.

Chaos has long been used by regimes intent on eliminating opposition, so today’s Democrat-fueled chaos should come as no surprise to anyone.  At their current pace of audacity, Democrats may yet surpass Nazi Germany and Bolshevik Russia as the gold standard for planned chaos.  The purpose of planned chaos is to destabilize a society to such an extreme that people demand those in power implement drastic measures to establish order.

Ever since they stole the 2020 election, Democrats have been counting on the importation of a new electorate to be their chaos clincher.  Thanks to feeble Republicans, in three short years they have succeeded in flooding the United States with undocumented migrants from around the world and buying them off with billions of taxpayer dollars in order to permanently secure their votes.  Make no mistake about it, Democrats are committed to doing whatever it takes to keep the flow of new voters moving along unabated.

The illegal importation of a new voting class is a shot across the bow of those who still hold out hope that Americans will ultimately “come together.”  Vivek Ramaswamy has repeatedly insisted that we have more in common than our differences, and that all we have to do is rediscover “what it means to be an American.”

A noble thought, to be sure, but one that is steeped in wishful thinking.  Democrats have succeeded in creating a culture of hatred between those who believe in tyranny and those who view liberty as their highest priority, and it’s time for do-gooders to face up to the reality that freedom advocates have nothing whatsoever in common with today’s radical left.

What little civil discourse that still existed in America went out the window in 2008 with the ascension to the presidential throne by an unvetted leftwing revolutionary.  He made it clear he intended to “fundamentally change the United States of America,” and quickly set about doing just that.  Once in office, he immediately set in motion chaos on a scale never before imagined in America, and Democrats, who have long thirsted for one-party rule, embraced him and his policies as the answer to their prayers.

Barack Obama’s ability to turn people against each other was unparalleled in U.S. history.  He was able to revive racial hatred in a country where racism was becoming something of an anachronism.  While being funded by billionaires, he preached a Jacobin hatred for the rich.  He mocked people who valued their religion and their means of self-protection.  To those familiar with biblical prophecy, his soothing assurances and savior-like aura brought forth eerie thoughts of the Antichrist.

Don’t get me wrong, government evils did not start with Obama.  History teaches us that governments throughout history have inflicted pain and suffering on their subjects, because the very nature of government makes it inherently evil.  It’s just that some governments are more evil than others.  Even so, we should never lose sight of the fact that just because a government is thought to be the best among all existing governments does not make it a good government.  It just makes it less bad than all the rest.

That’s why the Founding Fathers took such pains to construct an inspired document we call the Constitution of the United States of America, a document whose fundamental purpose is to protect citizens from their own government.  From the very beginning, it was a shaky experiment, at best.  As John Adams pointed out, its survival depended upon the support of a moral people, a commodity that is now in woefully short supply in America.

The United States has now devolved to the point where neither politicians nor the voters who keep them in power are moral, which is why the purveyors of chaos are able to ignore the law, the Constitution, and even Supreme Court rulings.  It is now clear that the noble idea of government of, by, and for the people is nothing more than a cruel myth.  Instead, politicians openly ignore the wishes of their constituents and vote on behalf of their donors under the guise of “voting their conscience.”

The question now is whether Democrat chaos will succeed in bringing about one-party rule in the United States or will sleep-walking voters in the United States awaken from their slumber in time and rebel against government tyranny as millions of angry folks have done in countries like Argentina, El Salvadore, and Hungary?  We probably have less than nine months to find out, and unless Republicans figure out how to keep Democrat election cheating to a minimum, the outlook is grim.

Regardless of the outcome of the 2024 election, however, we should never lose sight of Lysander Spooner’s admonition that a man is no less a slave because he is allowed to choose a new master once in a term of years.  When it comes to fighting tyranny, eternal vigilance is an absolute requirement.
