Top Haley aide Tyler Clarke worked for dark-money Biden donors who funneled $410M to Dems: report

A top campaign aide to Nikki Haley worked as a lobbyist for a dark-money giant that funneled millions to Joe Biden and the Democrats in 2020, according to a report that drew fury from her GOP rivals Saturday.
Tyler Clark, Haley’s current New Hampshire state director, worked on behalf of the nonprofit Sixteen Thirty Fund in 2020, according to lobbying disclosure forms seen by the Washington Examiner.
The fund is one of a network of dark-money groups run by Arabella Advisers, a shadowy cash clearinghouse that collects millions from lefty billionaires like George Soros, Hansjörg Wyss, Bill Gates, and Pierre Omidyar and showers the money on progressive candidates and pressure groups.
The Sixteen Thirty Fund alone distributed $410 million in dark funding to Democrats in the last presidential election cycle, The Post has reported.
“Haley’s campaign is not only funded by Democrats — it’s run by Democrats, too!” Ron DeSantis’s campaign posted on X.

The fund also launched the pressure group Demand Justice, which spent $5 million in 2018 in an attempt to derail Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court — and later, in 2021, ran an aggressive ad campaign pushing Justice Steven Breyer’s retirement.
Breyer caved to the pressure in 2022, allowing Biden to install Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson on the nation’s highest court.
Clark’s work for the Sixteen Thirty Fund occurred during his four years as a public and government affairs advisor for Preti Strategies, a Boston-based lobbying firm.

He went on to lobby for other left-leaning groups, including the American Civil Liberties Union and the American Federation of Teachers, before joining Haley’s campaign last year.
A Haley campaign spokesperson did not respond to questions about her aide’s former lobbying career.
