Will Democrats Play the Pardon Card?

Will Democrats Play the Pardon Card?

For years Republicans and the media have ignored Joe Biden’s blatant influence peddling and money laundering activities.  Even today Fox News anchors and contributors are careful to be gentle with their word choices, especially since truthteller Tucker Carlson vanished in the middle of the night.

For example, when Biden dishes out his daily buffet of lies, many Fox anchors continue to talk in mushy tones like “Biden is not being forthcoming” rather than “Biden is, and always has been, a sociopathic liar.”  Dan Bongino was an exception to this — and he’s gone!  Tucker Carlson was an exception to this — and he’s gone!  Lou Dobbs was an exception to this — and he’s gone!  Attention Maria:  Tread lightly, or you may soon be joining the Fox missing-persons list.

To a serious observer, the most relevant question is whether Joe Biden is guilty of nothing more than impeachment-type crimes or whether he has committed treason, a crime punishable by death.  One of the definitions of treason is “a violation of allegiance to one’s sovereign or to one’s state,” and it’s hard to imagine that even a professional liar like Jen Psaki or the little Haitian simpleton who replaced her could say, with a straight face, that Biden is not, at the very least, guilty of violating his allegiance to the United States.

For years the media has been feeding the public gibberish, telling us that Scranton Joe is the adult in the room, that his administration is scandal free, that he is remarkably energetic, that what makes him different from Donald Trump is that he doesn’t lie, that he’s “a nice guy,” and, of course, that he’s a faithful Catholic.

In reality, however, Biden is, among others things, the world’s number-one sex trafficker, a pervert who molested his own daughter in the shower for years, and a guy whom everyone from Washington to Beijing knows can be bought.  Pay him enough money and you might even get him to say something embarrassingly absurd like “the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy.”

The big question is, how many people reading this article really believe that Joe Biden — or even Hunter Biden, for that matter — will ever be punished for their crimes?  The fact that no one believes either quick-hands Joe or sleazy Hunter will face any serious consequences for their outrageous criminal behavior is all you need to know about the health of the rule of law in 2023 America.

Don’t get me wrong, I realize Biden is senile.  I realize he’s a dufus.  I realize he’s a sociopathic liar.  But aside and apart from these charming traits, Biden is, above all, an evildoer who has been running an organized criminal enterprise in Washington for the better part of the past 50 years.  It’s time to stop pretending that he’s just another corrupt politician.

What I’m getting at here is that Joe Biden’s senility is not a justifiable excuse to shield him from the consequences of his actions.  If the James Comer investigation continues to expose Biden’s crimes, he’s not likely to be the Democrats’ puppet candidate again.  And if that turns out to be the case, when the Dem powerholders kick him to the curb, my concern is that wimpy Republicans will insist that because Biden is out of office, and given his age and dementia, he should be allowed to peacefully retire to his Delaware mansion.  In other words, no consequences once again.

Sorry, but those of us who believe in a fair justice system also believe Biden should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law after he leaves office.  Old age is not an excuse.  Poor health is not an excuse.  Dementia is not an excuse.

The only way to discourage future Joe Bidens from enriching themselves at taxpayers’ expense is for the original Joe Biden to be prosecuted and sent to prison for the remainder of his life.  There have been far too many politicians like Tom Daschle, Chris Dodd, and Barney Frank who flaunted their criminality, then retired and slipped quietly into the night with their millions in ill-gotten gains.

Unfortunately, nothing is going to happen to Joe Biden anytime soon, no matter how much proof Comer comes up with, because Merrick Garland, a criminal himself, will never prosecute him.  Which means Republicans have no choice but to wait until 2024 and, in the meantime, gather overwhelming evidence against Biden.

When I say gather overwhelming evidence, that includes evidence of Biden’s profiteering while president of the United States.  Does anyone really believe Joe has voluntarily stopped engaging in criminal activity since ascending to the most powerful office in the world, all while Hunter continues to sell his “artwork” for millions to undisclosed buyers and rake in many more millions from China and other corrupt countries who want access to the Oval office?  Why do you think Biden gives China a pass on every issue?  It’s because the CCP is his paymaster.

As things continue to unravel for Biden and the Democrats, the elephant in the room — the pardon card — looms ever larger.  Democrats, never shy about trying even the most outrageous stunts, may well direct Biden to pardon both himself and Hunter.

In that event, a new Republican attorney general in 2024 would have to put on his brass knuckles and fight to get the pardons set aside on the obvious grounds they are, at a minimum, a fraud on the American people.  It would be an interesting test case, because it has never happened before, but the U.S. has never before had a puppet president anything like Joe Biden.

As the United States continues to devolve into banana land, the words of Chris Plante ring evermore true:  “It’s good to be a Democrat.”
