Biden Says He’s Two Senators Away From Taking Our Guns

Biden Says He’s Two Senators Away From Taking Our Guns

With all the other Biden-induced disasters overwhelming our country some conservatives might forget that it was Joe Biden who co-authored the original 1994 “assault weapons” ban.

And Joe Biden has never made any secret of his desire to ban and confiscate a long list of commonly-owned firearms – such as AR-15 modern sporting rifles and handguns with a greater capacity than 10 rounds.

Our friends at the Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund (GOA-PVF) have also just reminded is that Biden promised to pass a revived ban on commonly-owned firearms with just two more Senators – and he would be willing to eliminate the filibuster to do so.

Two seats Biden and Kamala have their sights set on flipping are in Utah and North Carolina.

Senator Mike Lee of Utah, who has long been a loyal defender of our Second Amendment rights, is being challenged by an “Independent” wolf in sheep’s clothing who would be a puppet of the gun control lobby.

Pro-gun Ted Budd, who is running to replace the retiring Senator Richard Burr, in North Carolina is facing relentless attacks from anti-gunners who are trying to flip this seat.

But playing defense is not the way to eliminate the threat to our God-given Second Amendment rights.

The GOA-PVF has identified four key pick-up opportunities where conservatives and gun owners can make difference going into the final weeks of the campaign.

Blake Masters is running in Arizona against Senator Mark Kelly, whose wife runs the radical gun control group Giffords.

Masters made his stance on the Second Amendment clear very early on by releasing an ad stating that the Second Amendment was not intended for duck hunting, but to protect yourself from evil-doers.

The very pro-gun Adam Laxalt – who is running against Nevada’s anti-gun Senator Catherine Cortez Masto – is shocking the nation now that even CNN says he’s leading by 2 POINTS!

In New Hampshire, GOA member Don Bolduc – who has a history of fighting for gun rights in the Granite State – is challenging Maggie Hassan who only won her last election by 1,017 votes.

Herschel Walker is running in Georgia against the vehemently anti-gun Raphael Warnock. Georgia’s last Senate race ended up in a run-off and ultimately became the reason Kamala was able to form a 50-50 majority in the Senate.

With anti-gun groups like Bloomberg’s Everytown and anti-gun billionaires like George Soros spending a record amount of money to defeat Pro 2A candidates, we need every conservative in the fight in the six campaigns identified above.

Here are three things you can do TODAY help elect Pro-2A candidates.

First, you can contribute to the GOA-PVF through this link.

Second, you can contribute to FED-UP PAC to help get 100 million pro-gun conservative voters to the polls for the midterm election.

Third, you can write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper, call talk radio, post to your social media and email your family, friends and other contacts to alert them to what Joe Biden is up to, and how he has lied repeatedly about the Second Amendment and gun ownership.

Here is a good talking point to use to help educate and motivate your fellow gun owners and limited government constitutional conservatives (courtesy of the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action):

Biden has claimed that the Second Amendment “didn’t say anybody can own a gun and any kind of gun and any kind of weapon” which highlights the fact that Biden has little grasp of what the Constitution, including our Bill of Rights, either says or means.

What the Second Amendment says is, “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” In other words, it doesn’t qualify who “the people” are, and it doesn’t explain to what types of “Arms” it refers. It makes no reference to what “the people” can do, but it spells out what the government cannot do; it says the right “shall not be infringed.”

These kinds of details matter. What Biden does not seem to comprehend is the fact that the Constitution spells out our government’s power, including limits to that power—in other words, what it can and cannot do. It does not describe what the government may allow the people to do, as Biden seems to imply.

Imagine if Biden’s “logic” was applied to other constitutional rights. If that way of thinking prevailed there would be no freedom of speech on the internet or radio or TV because they hadn’t been invented at the time of the American Revolution or the passage of the 14th Amendment. The federal government could come and confiscate your TV or require you to get a license to own a radio or an internet connection… and Joe Biden is only two Senate seats away from having that kind of power.
