EXCLUSIVE: Spokane Man Jailed After Testing Positive COVID-19, Tells His Story

Jerred Baddeley of Spokane, WA explained to North Idaho Exposed what transpired after being the first man in Spokane history forced to isolate in jail.  Mr. Baddeley had tested positive for COVID-19, after being turned away three times by local hospitals for help isolating, he did not want to go back to his apartment and risk infecting other tenants.

 

After seeking refuge in a nearby baseball field dugout, he was found by local authorities and then issued an isolation order by Spoken Regional Health District Dr. Bob Lutz in coordination with Spokane County and the Spokane County Jail.  Jerred spent 10 days at the county jail during which he was not able to contact his family.
